After limiting Bangladesh to 119 runs in a rain-shortened 27 overs, India was set a target of 126 runs according to the DLS method. Openers Smriti Mandhana and Amanjot Kaur provided a solid start, but rain forced the match to be abandoned.

Following the injury, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that she had injured both her knee and ankle, and her recovery is being closely monitored ahead of the semifinal against Australia.

She made a notable impact with both bat and ball, taking a crucial wicket and conceding only 18 runs in her five overs. With the bat, she scored 15 runs off 25 balls, contributing to India's score before the rain interrupted.

Looking Ahead to the Semifinals

Following the rain-affected conclusion of the group stage, Team India is now focused on their semifinal match against Australia, the defending champions. India secured their spot in the semifinals after a victory over New Zealand. Skipper Harmanpreet Kaur expressed confidence in her team's performance and hopes to carry the momentum into the knockout stage.
